Connecting to Hosted Desktop
Please select the operating system of your local machine to see specific connection instructions for that system.
Microsoft
Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection
1 - Click “Start” then “Run”

2 - Type in “mstsc”.

3 - You will be presented with Remote Desktop Connection box. Click on “Options”.

4 - Fill in your details as you have been provided when you joined. Then “Save As”.

5 - Click on Desktop then give it a suitable file name and then “Save”.

6 - Now click on “Connect”.

7 - Tick the box “Don’t ask me again for remote connections to this computer”

8 - Enter your login credentials. (If prompted)
9 - You should now see your Hosted Desktop screen with the connection bar at the top.

Mac or Macbook
Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection
These instructions are on how to Install Microsoft Remote Desktop. This was done on a Macbook with Yosemite (10.10).(Other versions may vary).
1 - Go to Appstore and search for Remote Desktop. Then get Microsoft Remote Desktop
2 - Install App.
3 - It will now say installing.
4 - Once installed you can find Microsoft Remote Desktop in Launchpad

These instructions are on how to launch your Hosted Desktop on a Mac. This was done on a Macbook with Yosemite (10.10). (Other versions may vary).
1 - Go to Launchpad then launch Microsoft Remote Desktop
2 - Press New
3 - Fill in your details. Remember if you have :3390 or :3391 put this in the PC name
(e.g. Company.Hosteddesktopuk.co.uk:3390)
4 - In My Desktops, right click on the server name then click Start
5 - You will get a certficate warning. Simply press Continue to carry on
6 - You are then connected to your Hosted Desktop
1 - Go to Launchpad then launch Microsoft Remote Desktop

3 - Fill in your details. Remember if you have :3390 or :3391 put this in the PC name
(e.g. Company.Hosteddesktopuk.co.uk:3390)

4 - In My Desktops, right click on the server name then click Start

5 - You will get a certficate warning. Simply press Continue to carry on

6 - You are then connected to your Hosted Desktop

Parallels 2X Client
These are instructions on how to Install Parallels 2x Client. This was done on a Macbook with Yosemite (10.10).(Other versions may vary). You can download here
1 - Go to Appstore and Search for 2x. Then on the 2x Client click on Get

2 - Install App

3 - Launchpad you can see the status of 2x Download

4 - Once Downloaded it will appear the as below

3 - Click on Standard RDP

4 - In the Connection tab fill in your server details

5 - When filling in, if you have :3390, :3391 or :3392 after [server].hosteddesktopuk.co.uk put the number in the port

6 - When you press OK this will appear on the left hand side under RDP Connections

7 - Context Click and Logon

8 - You will be successfully logged in

2 - Right click on RDP Connection and then New Connection

3 - Click on Standard RDP

4 - In the Connection tab fill in your server details
