Disable Windows Defender in Windows 10
Method One
1 - Click the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen and then click Settings
2 - Click Update & security
3 - Click Windows Defender and click the slider bars under Real-time protection, Cloud-based Protection, and Sample submission so that they are in the Off position
4 - Close the Update & security window
Method Two
1 - Click the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen and type Defender
2 - Click on Windows Defender Security Center
3 - Click on the Cog icon at the bottom left of the window
4 - Click on Virus & threat protection settings
5 - click the slider bars under Real-time protection, Cloud-based Protection, and Sample submission so that they are in the Off position
6 - Close the Update & security window
